Meet your Ignite Exam Cram trainers

As a premier training provider, we are only as good as our trainers. It’s a great thing that we have some of the best trainers in New Zealand!

If you’re heading to Microsoft Ignite NZ (or even if you’re not), you’ll get the chance to attend four Exam Cram sessions presented by two of our most skilled Microsoft Certified Trainers – Malcolm Jeffrey and James Finley.

Find out a little more about them below:

James Finley, Auldhouse trainer

James Finley

James is an experienced and passionate IT trainer and professional. He’s been on the New Zealand scene for over 20 years, and in that time has seen many changes. As a trainer, he needs to stay on top of where things are headed, while understanding where they came from. His current focus is messaging and collaboration, cloud services and virtualisation, with a dollop of PowerShell thrown in just to keep things interesting. When he’s not in the classroom or datacentre, you can find him playing or teaching jazz to kids, or trying to find a stream to watch his beloved Cornhuskers and Cubs.

Malcolm Jeffrey, Auldhouse trainer

Malcolm Jeffrey

Working in IT since the bad old days of 1994, Malcolm has spent the last 15 years or so as a technical trainer for various firms, the last 11 years at Auldhouse in Wellington. A senior trainer, Malcolm teaches a wide range of topics from Microsoft Server, through to Microsoft Cloud with a focus on Office 365 and Azure. Malcolm’s excited for this year’s Ignite with all the shiny new Microsoft products being released this year. In his spare time, Malcolm is a mad keen mountain biker and a lover of music. If you want to talk IT certifications, awesome trails, or good tunes, hit Malcolm up at Ignite!
